The
game is so simple, it can be learned
in less than 30 Seconds,
but challenges even the intellectually
gifted.
The
"Game
Board",
is the same as with board game version,
but for the game show, it's digitally
displayed behind the players as the
game advances.
Two
players (or two pairs of players, husband
& wife, coworkers or just friends),
are opponents of what is a war
for pride and money. They
compete on who knows more about their
own passion.
Players
are selected only if they consider themselves
experts in a particular subject, if
the subject is a hobby and not their
job or profession and most of all if
they have a passion about that
subject.
The
basic rules are the same as with the
board game version, except that their
selection of a block on the Game Board,
will cause it to flash on and off and
then marked with their color and the
money and prizes won are determined
by how they answer questions that are
asked every time a selection is made
on board.
As
to the questions that are asked, they
are all of a subject
chosen by the contestant (their passion)
up to one month before the show is taped.
It is their favorite subject, experts
on it and they have a long time to study
for the show.
The
main goal of the game will be to win
the match on the board, because the
winner gets to keep what he/she has
won during the show, the loser gets
to go home with a tooth brush.
The
questions that are asked have four (4)
different levels of difficulty and five
(5) different Dollar values depending
on the number on the block selected
by the player...
| The
questions are... |
Worth
|
|
On
#1
|
Relatively
easy and worth... |
$100.00
|
|
On
#2
|
A
little more challenging... |
$200.00
|
|
On
#3
|
They
are difficult... |
$300.00
|
|
On
#4
|
They
are very difficult... |
$400.00
|
The
Wild blocks, are wild also as to how
difficult the questions is, they are
as easy as on #1 or as difficult as
on #4, the players never know what they
can get when they go to a Wild block,
but because of that, the prize is $500.00
if it's answered correctly.
Once
a selection is made on the board, it
belongs to the contestant that made
it, even if the question is answered
incorrectly, but the dollar amount of
the question is lost from his/her previous
winnings and it goes to the opponent
for forcing him or her to have to answer
a tougher question by having to block
at a higher number.
We
capture the loyalty of viewers by the
natural emotions that contestants demonstrate
as the opponent is force to select a
higher numbers and in so doing, fails
to answer a tougher question or sometimes
it back fires and the opponent gains
an advantage.
Again
lets emphasize that the difficulty of
a question increases the chances that
the player will answer it wrong, and
when that happens they do not receive
the Dollar value of the question, but
the opponent gets the money without
even having to answer the question.
This embarrass the player that considers
himself an expert in the subject.
These
facts create real emotion, the personalities
demonstrated by the two contestants
and the fact that they have different
subjects, forces the TV viewer
to identify more with one than the other,
so they follow the game show as does
a sports fan.
There
are also be Five prizes (Cars,
Vacations, etc.), hidden
in the board and the contestant win
them if they select the block where
its hidden and answer the question correctly,
but they must also win the game.
What
makes the Game Show interesting, challenging
and entertaining, is what goes on in
the process of trying to win. The contestants
accumulate money and prizes during the
show. But, once again, the loser of
the game goes home with only consolation
prizes.
All
throughout the game show, in the background
areas not displaying the game board
or covered by the set or the contestants,
unidentified parts of a commercial landmark,
such as a hotel, amusement park or condominium
complex are shown to the television
audience, the winner of the game has
one chance at the end of the game to
name it. There is an additional prize
of $500.00
if it's identified correctly.
The
rule that makes this game so special
is the one
rule, and the only
real rule the game has, that
every block selected, must always have
a number equal to or higher then the
previous selection made by that player.
And if higher, this also means the questions
are harder.
The front of each player's station,
displays the value of their last selection,
as well as their accumulated Dollar
winnings for the game.
Winners
can defend their title up to 5 times,
against 5 different opponents. The total
of their winnings are shown at the end
of each match.
The
beauty of the Game Show is that it appeals
to different interest groups, because
of the subject of the questions, such
as music questions and to different
parts of the world because we produce
it in different countries. There is
also a kids version with less difficult
questions.
